I really liked this! Great job! |

Recently added another SOG to my collection. A NIB/MINT SOG Trident.

Got it from Seki Japan. Hattori/SOG Trident. They still have som available for those of you that want one of these.
SUPER fast shipping. It took only 4 days for it to be on my doorstep. Japan > Norway.

Mark: I have a feeling I know this person from Norway. His collection is extreme. He helped me get hold of the SOG Scuba/DEMO with serial #127 out of the first 250 produced. Would not be suprised if his the one that commented here earlier. |
|
Tony: Both knives you have there are quite rare. The Scuba/demo is a prototype from the SHOT 2001 show that SOG went to. The Recon Bowie's marking indicates that it was the first ever Recon Bowie to roll off the SOG production line. Congrats!
Joel: Sorry unfortunately we don't! But what we do know that SOG did offer a "Tiger-striping" service so it was sort of like a custom knife. Thanks for your compliments! Our team did put in a lot of hard work to build up the foundation of this website!
Toby: It would be on the butt of the knife. If you don't see any inscription there, you probably don't have the first 250 scuba/demos.
Tom: Thanks! It's nice to live near the SOG HQ, where you can pop by I think! Ah you still can find the old knives if you look hard enough! Yes 'EDM' does stand for Edmonds. They were there before they moved to Lynnwood. Not sure if the staff knows about the company history though. It's an honor to live in the same town where the great SOGs were produced!
Mark: Sorry we don't do direct appraisals over the Guestbook, but yes $100 is a good price for any SOG knife.
Dan: It's hard to tell without any pictures, but from what I think it seems like a very old and genuine SOG Trident.
Espen: WOW that is a large collection of SOGS! Another SOG Collector from Norway did write to us some time back with a large collection like yours too!
Larry: Thanks! Hope you enjoyed browsing our site. Sent you the link and we'll be VERY grateful for any nice pictures that you might have!
Patrick: Thanks too. You can post a WTB listing on our Wanted/For Sale page.
Kenneth: Thank you! Wow so you did get hold of one of the original SOG bowies! Proud of the fact that you did serve our nation. A pity about the lost knives but you still can find them on the web! Yep I guess the charm of the old SOG knives never fades does it!
Cheers,
Mark
